Urgh.. concede again. I want Bournemouth to stay up but they are really up against it.

The Newcastle vs Sunderland game had me wondering how Newcastle were losing (at least so heavily) but this is the opposite, god knows how they're winning. Makes me think despite not playing greatly maybe the control we had of this very same fixture deserves more credit.

10 corners to 0!? Bournemouth have had plenty of chances, Elliott in goal is playing well.

Bournemouth have to get more lethal in front of goal if they're to stay up, the lack of quality up front is painfully obvious in this game.

ooh, that block off was very similar to the one against Sunderland which was given.

Bournemouth won't go down because of injuries - they only have two players of Premier League quality anyway. Bournemouth will go down because of a complete lack of a plan B.

Today would have suited Glen Murray, instead he's not even on the bench. Injured?

16-0 in corners. Newcastle have only had 1 shot on target.

Think the lack of Plan B does stem a bit from the injuries though...

Having someone like Callum Wilson or Glen Murray instead of King or even on the bench instead of Kermorgant. Someone like Gradel coming off the bench instead of Rantie, Atsu instead of Tomlin would probably help.

Still wildly underwhelming squad to draw upon but when you take those players out of the squad you end up forced to just try and surive/scrape what you can.

Newcastle on the other hand somehow look worse than they did a few weeks ago....if not for Elliot making a few fantastic saves today it looks like they would have been run out of the park.

I'd be very concerned if I was a Newcastle fan. Yes they won but it was fortunate and they were second best to Bournemouth, who lets be honest are a very weak team currently by PL standards. Worrying times.
