People lubing and waxing lyrical about is beyond me, yes he i agree he has improved, but hes no world star beater as some are making out, he still has his gaffs which cost us against the better and bigger sides.

Seems to be too much rose tinted glasses about him, people forget the almost suicide pass to Lloris he made under no pressure but the worst was allowing and completely losing Idah for the chance Idah should have buried that would have been 1-1 at that point, better opposition would have made us pay.

How bout appreciate someone who’s performing at a consistently high level under a new coach. Can say the same things about numerous players Conte has coached. There’s no limit to good coaching and putting players in the best position to succeed.

Either way, I thought Ben was very good again today. He’s slotted into Conte’s system smoothly and it’s clear as day Conte trusts him to get forward too.
