He still looks nervous.

Snatches at chances and seems to lack conviction in general.

You can see the athlete he is and fingers crossed he matures soon.

very poor yesterday i think but not easy playing against the extreme low block. and it does’t suit his game. fairly obvious we needed something else yesterday but atm we don’t have many alternatives…

He had a poor game last night but he wasn't the only one.

And to be fair to Ange, he did try to change it.

Looks a player and talent but yea still looks a bit young and nervous, needs more conviction in his finishing/shooting.

Probably should've had a goal for us yesterday really.

Yeah he should have scored 2. Gio put him through twice and he bombed the shots. Countless times he had so much space too and just shot straight at his man or put awful crosses in

He reminds me of when Son first joined, give him half a season to settle in and get back to full match fitness and he’ll be great.
He showed at forest he knows where the back of the net is so no worries from me, especially as both him and Kulu are still so young.

Normally I would have had a complete opinion of him already but I'm still figuring him out.

One thing I noticed almost every match he's put himself in wonderful positions to score. He's good at running late into the box at times.

At times I see this blistering pace but not enough for my liking. Maybe he's keeping it simple and less predictable?

His shooting has been pretty abysmal so far, kind of like a 12 year old boy type shots. Maybe that's lack of confidence to have a good crack or his technique is wrong. If he finishes off how well he gets into space we'll be laughing.

His demeanour reminds me a bit of Sessengon. Not sure if it's nerves, lack of confidence or I'm misreading his mannerisms.

There is a lot more pros than cons I see of him but as I said i still haven't worked him out yet.

He needs much more of a killer instinct. He's playing like he's glad to be out there, not quite believing in himself but happy to help where he can. Hopefully the penny drops sooner than later.

And I really wish Ange would have him and Kulusevski swap wings when we're not making clear cut chances. So tiresome seeing them cutting in to traffic the whole time. Or simply not crossing it when they do. Saka doesn't have this issue.

I said to my Spurs WhatsApp group yesterday that he reminds me of Sessegnon. He needs time to settle in and I hope he makes the grade.

I think he like a number of our wide players would benefit from having a striker in the box who could score goals.

Yup. Unless our chances fall to son we are in trouble. We just can’t rely on anyone else to score.
it won’t happen but unless we sign a truly top winger in summer we’ll never challenge. We need 3 top goal scorers at least in the side.

Gio has scored a couple and could easily have had 3 more in the last 3 games.

We need another goal threat in the side desperately, wether that means sticking son back out wide and buying a world class striker, whilst leaving the rest to fight it out over 1 spot then so be it. All I hear about is how crap our defence is, and how we must go snd buy at least 2 centre backs, that ain’t the problem,,, we create chance after chance after chance, with nobody who can put the bell in the back of the net.

Son is an elite finisher will be hard to find someone better. Also think he's not suited to the wing any more, he's better through the middle.

We need more from Johnson and Richardson who hopefully will click soon. Hopefully sarr is back to make up bissouma, sarr and lo celso in the mid so we can drop hojbjerg.

If richy is fit enough I'd start him on the right and bring Johnson on as the game stretches. He will do well against trippier.
