What I found interesting was he didn't run anywhere near as much as he runs for Spurs
I don't think Eriksen is a natural runner by any stretch - a very natural 2 touch player but willing runner not so much.

I think it's credit to him that he's willing to take himself out of his comfort zone to work in Poch's system but the big question is can he take that next step and become a real force in the Premier League.

Something in me kind of hopes he never quite makes that step to becoming a world class player as he himself implied that he'd probably look to move on once he does. Out of all our players in the starting XI I think he is the most likely to leave if him and us make that next step and that includes Lloris and Vertonghen who I have a feeling will still be here for years to come.

Love Eriksen but never looks that happy! He looks frustrated a little lot, even when Walker scored on Sunday, he looked pissed that he never got the ball. Class player.

Would of been inclined to agree last season, but not this one. Since coming back from injury he's been excellent.
I did not mean to say that he has not been good but he still can improve on his work rate. And I do want to keep Eriksen in the starting XI of course.

Yeah I know, but I complained about his sporadic work rate last season - and frequently. He's improved this season in that sense and I don't see him bottling out on 50/50's like I saw last season quite a bit.

That is true.

Eriksen is quietly having his best season yet. He's not scoring late goals or sending in crosses left and right for adebayor but his all around game is so consistently solid.

Doesn't he run more than just about anyone else in the League?

Personally I'm liking what Eriksen is turning into, a bit of a workhorse with moments of quality that no one else is capable of rather than a luxury player who steps up and carries his team. Under different management they would have made him the stand out player and built a team around him...and he would have probably ended up leaving for a bigger club but now he's a cog in the system (albeit an important one but replaceable) which is better for us.

Poor game today like most.
But still important for us.

Absolutely shocking today, and most of all was his fear of getting stuck in and tackling. Couple of times the ball was up in the air and he just dangled a foot out and pulled away instead of going in to win it.

Cant tackle cant head bit of a chicken. Like the little girl with the curl when he's good he's very very good but when he's bad he's horrid.
Having too many horrid games at the moment.
