Mourinho has been pretty public about his desire to return Dele to his best form. Less so Eriksen unless he’s doing so behind the scenes. He’ll know what an important player he used to be for us and I bet he’d love to have him back to his best too. I suspect he’d be delighted to credit himself with a turnaround in the player should it unlikely happen.

With any luck, Jose will ostracize him from the team. Poch should have done so immediately after he spouted off when it was all still fresh after the final.

Yep, Struggled initially but to be expected given the flow of the game but I was hopeful straight from halftime with that first ball, there was a lot of good moments, especially when we went 2-2 up he was leading the press screaming at Son to get up. Great delivery with the freekick. Very happy to see that performance. Step in the right direction. He clearly wants to leave but a few more performances like today and he can leave on a better note.

Son of a B****! he should have ostracized him and sent him down to the reserves! Kidding of course Yankspurs as i actually agreed with you. Perhaps this Jose knows a thing or two.....

Well at least he's pumping his value. If he keeps putting in shifts like that someone will likely be willing to pay a decent fee to snap him up in January.

With that performance he’s probably gone from -2.5m to £1m so he’s on the up

Would be an absolute masterstroke if he can get Eriksen engaged and to commit to a new contract and play to the level we know he can.

Hate the saying but it would be like a new signing.

Good to see him striking the ball cleanly - for the most part - tonight. No one else on our team is capable of doing the assist for Kane's goal.

Was good in the second half, more like his old self, played some lovely passes, at least one assist and should have had a goal if Son had passed. But saying all that, unless he has decided to stay, I still think Celso really should be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Much much better tonight. Pretty certain he’ll still leave but I think freshening up of a new manager will do him some good in the 6 months he still with us.

Took him a little while, but he grew into the game nicely. Moved the ball quickly. Thought he was better than a few of the others tonight (Winks, Son) but probably too little too late.

As long as he puts in good performances until he leaves I’ll be happy, at the end of the day it just a job a high paying one but still a job regardless
