Absolute beast again today, Dias only other CB in the Prem I’d consider over him on current form.

It's like when he takes the armband he goes up another level. At one point I thought he was going to absolutely twat Willian but he just took the ball and went about his business.

Brilliant and really stepping up another level this season. Felt he needed an experienced head next to him but proving me wrong so far this season.

Think what's helped massively is having players either side of him he seemingly trusts primarily because they are comfortable receiving the ball and are mobile.

Never felt he was comfortable playing alongside Dier or Sanchez, especially the former, and now those two are thankfully out the picture, its contributing to Romero looking so much better.

Realistically the best player at the club now. He's a genuinely elite player who you wouldn't swap for any other in his position. Truly world class.
