Still feel we can get the results now aside from Anfield where we will struggle. The games we really needed him for were Utd and Arsenal. We should have enough for Newcastle, Bournemouth and Leeds. It will be tough Sunday but I fancy 352 will be fine and at home we are a different animal. We should have enough in the CL to qualify too given the position we're in. Most important thing is he recovers well and plays the world cup. Best scenario is he is up to speed for when we resume after Christmas.

He should be fit and play in the World Cup - in 2026 - given that Sweden didn't qualify to the one next month.

Fuck this shit. He shouldnt have continued when he felt something during his international week. This was really avoidable yet it has to happen to us and now with the worse possible outcome. Damn!

I think the fact that Lucas isn’t fit to start games too is a pain in the arse on top of kulusevski and Richy being out.

Maybe some warm weather training with the squad then instead

Aaarrrg this is what infuriates me with these BS internationals bang in the middle of an already condensed fixture list - even worse with the WC shoe horned in. Cos of this insignificant Sweden game, we’ve now lost one of our best players for months. Boils my urine.

The Football London article suggests Conte thinks he will be back before the World Cup break.

“(Conte clarified as he was walking out of the press conference that he expects and needs Kulusevski to be back before the last game in November)”

If it’s just the last game he’s back for, there’s no point rushing him.

A win Wednesday also means we cab rest players ahead of Liverpool. I can't see him start straight away though sadly. At best I think he could make the bench against Liverpool.

Don't think there's a hope in hell Conte rests anyone against Marseille unless we beat Sporting tomorrow and Frankfurt beat Marseille, meaning we're guaranteed 1st place. If we go in to the Marseille game with it being of any significance he will go full strength.

Could mean absolutely nothing, but hopefully a sign he's not too far away.
