Ange should just walk round the changing room dishing out wallops and breaking noses. Give them all masks.
We'll be bloody unstoppable !

Might be the answer to all the bookings and red cards if we're all in masks and they don't know who done it

Stupid penalty.
But he does have history with the same thing.
Very lucky not to give away the same thing vs Everton.
Only difference being the Everton player didn't go down.
Needs to learn from it.

Shirt pulling is infuriatingly inconsistent. You see it week in, week out. And how many players get punished (Deki at Everton for instance).

Definite penalty but let’s start giving them every weekend and not just when VAR decides the fans loud enough.

Needs to learn you can pull a players shirt for 5 seconds and it’s ok but 10 seconds it’s a pen!

More nonsense….

Yes. Obviously his brain cell isn't working properly. He comitted an identical foul against Everton and was very fortunate to get away with it. You'd think he would say to himself, 'I was lucky then, better not do that again.'

Brainless.

He got his fifth yellow of the season. Does that mean he misses the Bournemouth match?

This has to be the most bipolar thread on sc. Stupid penalty but he always works hard and wants the ball. Created the veliz goal through hard work and has been one of our better players this year.

Can forgive that moment and hope that's the last of it.

Yeah and its the same people who dig him out when he doesn't perform but they're nowhere to be seen when he's one of our best players on the pitch v Forest/City etc.

Was a poor game from him and stupid pen to give away. I didn't agree with a yellow card though. The penalty was punishment enough.

Or he said to himself in that spit second. I got away with this the other day so it won’t get given as a foul this time either.
Not brainless.

Without the shirt pull Welbeck scores then, no?
In which case it was worth the risk, particularly as he got away with it at Everton.

Maybe he would have scored, maybe not, but one thing's for sure is that Kulu misses the next game when we're down to the bare bones already.

Not excusing Deki at all - but we all saw it Saturday v Everton, did any of our coaching staff (or Ange) see it / watch it back? If so did they warn Deki - because surely that is part of the coaching teams job?

Just won the awards for Sweden's Best Player of the Year (Guldbollen) and Midfielder of the Year. For those of you who either know Swedish or have the patience to read a Google-translated interview, I can recommend this one. It's a great read and gives insights into his personal life, and how he's a mentality monster.

He had this to say about Ange for example.

You have had many great coaches, who do you have the warmest feelings for?

– Of the great ones...? Let me think now. I've learned so much. At Atalanta, it started with Gasperini. I was young, I was hungry, but I didn't get to play, and I thought it was his fault. But it was my fault. So I learned from him, it was hard work. The Italian style was also present with Conte, just hard work and a lot of grinding.

– But... I had a great coach at BP (IF Brommapojkarna), Andreas Engelmark, who helped me a lot in my younger years. And now... what I feel for this coach (Postecoglou) at Tottenham, it's something new, something completely different. It's something I've never had before, truly. The mentality, the training sessions, the playing style... If my dream was to play football in a certain way, it would be like this. If I were a coach, I would surely set up a team in a similar way and try to win matches, never thinking about what happens if we lose.

– I am very impressed by him, very lucky to learn from such a man.
