Thought he was fair in his comments to be honest, it's just how's it's reported that makes him sound bitter. He did state how Bale was a great signing for us but just (understandably) that he's more excited by Thiago.

Potentially a front 3 of Son Kane & Bale. With 2 really good vertical passers/dribblers in Lo Celso & Ndombele & 2 attacking full backs. That is potentially some serious shit.

Basically Sky Sports (who I imagine are mostly staffed with Liverpool fans) doing their best to dampen the news before it's been announced.
They may as well interview John Terry and ask if he thinks Bale's signing is more exciting than anything Chelsea have done this summer.
