Absolutely right, Real Madrid wanted him to go so he, or rather his agent, set up a deal with a Chinese club and as you say, Madrid pulled the plug and forced him to stay. While it was for money, I thought he was heading to China and the club stopped the move?
I don't disagree, madrid created this mess, but it is worth pointing out his move to China would have made himself significantly richer and even more irrelevant.Absolutely right, Real Madrid wanted him to go so he, or rather his agent, set up a deal with a Chinese club and as you say, Madrid pulled the plug and forced him to stay.
All this he won't go he's just sitting around taking the money is unfair.
Rich but irrelevant. I can’t think of a better life outcomeI don't disagree, madrid created this mess, but it is worth pointing out his move to China would have made himself significantly richer and even more irrelevant.
You and me both.Rich but irrelevant. I can’t think of a better life outcome
As if he would know unless Bale directly told him.

yep, sounds like pure speculation with some clever headline writers to make it seem bigger statement than it is.
If Bale wants to come back, he can make it happen. I don't think there is anything stopping him.
One way to package the deal would be to offer half his salary, like 18 million or maybe 20 to Real Madrid as a transfer fee and they can then use that money to pay Bale the difference, and bale can then take a cut as well and that's workable. But he has to push it, and I don't think he will.
The MLS is a curious league to watch. Crowded stadiums and eager supporters every match. Does the people of 'Murica just enjoy the outdoor smell and going to games or do they really like 'soccer'?
I'd say at the LAFC games (i have season tickets) its pretty die hard fans (a majority being hispanic and originally Chivas fans). The chants are all in spanish and mimic the mexican national team chants. The stadium sells out almost every weekend game and when we had our champions league games against León this year there was a massive crowd (for MLS standards). I know you all will probably laugh at our stadium being tiny but when you're packed in it gets pretty loud and gnarly. Oduro scored a goal on our supporters section side and had about 6 cans/bottles thrown at him so now we can't have cans at our seats it has too be poured out. Here is a little vid of the stadium and crowd. Also before I get slagged off for liking the MLS just remember that we Americans are about 100 years behind you guys in terms of creating clubs and I wished that the MLS would use the NASL and USL as tiered teams and allow promotion/relegation. It's a shame that the greedy owners won't allow it as it opens up the opportunity for them to lose millions which is a shame.
When you saw your sweetheart ex gracing the best pages of various top tier magazines and wish there are more nights you could spend with her now - is just not gonna happen.
