Just been on red cafe they are not bitter at all, here’s a snippet from there.

“know I said earlier that I’d be happy for United to get him on loan for a year but it just suddenly dawned on me that he’s washed up shite. Glad he’s going to Spurs.”?

Not sure I buy into this injury prone aspect, always felt it was more of a ‘Madrid’ way of dealing with bale not being picked.

he is always fit for a wales game after all.

To Dare is to Do. Right now, we look thoroughly mediocre. Time to roll the dice
I think we could sign Messi and stll look mediocre. Our play is not about ability. It's deeper than that. I'm going to give Jose the benefit of the doubt (though he killed us with his half time change), and believe that there is still work to do, or that it was just an off day. But Bale or no bale, it runs so much deeper than that.

Also to dare is to do, would be to keep Dele and get Bale in.

While I agree if it happens I gotta say I've been laughing the last 5 minutes at your choice of avi. well played.

Probably the maddest day I’ve experienced on here I reckon and the best thing is we’ve not even started flight tracking yet

I bloody have. Flight Radar 24. Thought I'd found the Leerjet....it had left Madrid.

But was heading to Brussels.

I am losing the plot.

Ah, ultra-cringe - that nasty SVMM youtube channel has already done a "Welcome back" video for Bale. Man, why do people do this? Talk about set yourself up to look like a bellend.

I'm not linking to it, you can find it yourself - i've not even watched it, the thumbnail showing it existed as of 3 hours ago made me sad.

They’re just naming their videos to get views. Whoever runs that channel doesn’t give a shit if Bale signs for Spurs - why would they care?

I’m sat here giggling like a stupid little kid.

Which is par for the course except I don’t ystskky do it while singing ‘he was born to play for Spurs’.

Probably the maddest day I’ve experienced on here

I'd put the day we signed VDV out of the blue as a pretty mental day.

Or the day @MrsKeane got a phonecall from Robbie while he was wanking into a public toilet... The more I think about it, most of the "maddest" things that happened on here, she tended to be involved, bless her :D

Jonathan Barnett’s comments on Levy at the time when the China move fell through:

Finally, Barnett was also asked about the toughest club chairmen he has negotiated with. When suggested that it could be Daniel Levy, he responded: “Daniel Levy is one of the most honourable men I know.
“He thinks he’s good (in negotiations), but so am I and I think I’m better. It’s very hard to do business with him, in a nice way.
“He wants the most and I want the most so we argue. But the one thing is that we shake hands on it and we don’t need paper. His word is 100%.”

Re Dele going the other way I think it makes sense in many ways. I reckon Jose realises that we can't reach our potential with the current midfielders we have playing with 2 in the middle and Dele being lazy as a 10. I think he wants to go to the 433 like his first Chelsea team. Dele can't play CM in that system. Could do a job coming off the left but Son and Bergwijn would be ahead of him there. Makes sense for all parties IMO. Maybe he'll come back a better player or maybe Levy manages to get a big fee for him. Win win.
