We’d have never entertained the deal if that was the case, I think it’s just journalists trying to add a twist to the story to make it sound a bit more touch and go than it is.

100% wages is just for them to save face surely. Maybe they’ll be a loan fee to sweeten the deal?

Dele covers the most ground in our team right now. in fact last season he was 5th in the league for distance covered per game

If you're going to persist in giving positive facts about Dele please take it outside ;)
Most in here don't want to hear it.
I'm pro Dele all the way obviously.

I can’t believe we will finally have a player who can take corners and free kicks again.

IF it's true, and Madrid have moved the goalposts and now want us to pay his full wages, the only was this move happens is if we buy him permanently and he takes a pay cut.

However based on all the ITK we've had, not sure I believe this is the case...yet...

I can’t really believe that Levy would have entered into negotiations if us paying £600k a week was ever on the table. Appreciate things can change quickly, but seems a bit far fetched.

I mean hasn't it been widely reported that they're happy to contribute 50% to get him out the door?

Why would they suddenly go back on that and risk having him eat up £600k a week for another season?

Can anyone who wants to shit on this excitement because they read something about wages kindly fuck off to the ITK thread and speak about it there.

*this is obviously a joke but get off the negative truck and on to the excitement plane*

The fact that Trix said that two of the three parties were making big strides (presumably Bale and RM) and suggested Levy was being his usual difficult self really makes me doubt those reports

Fingers crossed for no games from Madrid, but after they scuppered the China move it wouldn't surprise me. Surely they can't afford to mess up another move however.
