Yeah that's how I understood it as well. I mean, everybody *assumes* he's a Spurs player because the negotiations were concluded and he everyone and his dog saw him disappear into Hotspur Way yesterday. I think it's pretty obvious that they'd try to secure an interview with him but nothing I heard was confirmation.

The reason I’m thinking that is Lamela has the 11 shirt, can shirt numbers be swapped between players or does the number have to come free by someone departing? Maybe Lamela could be off?
