Good news guys, he might be back in time to make a 30 minute cameo for Spurs before he returns to Argentina for the October internationals. (y)

I'm no expert, but the logic of how we reintegrate players seems pretty random to me. Kane gets straight back into the team after being rushed back from injury, but Lo Celso is apparently not deemed fit enough to start after 3 weeks of training with the club.

We're gagging for a player who can put his foot on the ball, break the lines and provide us with a bit of creative impetus. Put him in Poch!

And if it's because he's not considered tactically up to speed, our tactics have been so shit recently that maybe that's not such a bad thing.

Poch waits to include players who haven't had a full preseason with us. That is why N'Dombele has been starting but Lo Celso has not. I used to think it was a bit of a protest to Levy as a 'get them in sooner' plee, but most likely he wants to get them fitter through training before playing them in big occasions.

As for Kane I think there are sometimes some slight politics at play. If he left Harry out of the Champions League Final then that is their relationship ruined - or at least damaged to an extent. Poch has always had his favourites/undroppables and Harry is certainly one of them.

Giovani Lo Celso has returned early to Hotspur Way after being withdrawn from the Argentina squad due to a hip injury.
The attacking midfielder sustained the injury during his national team’s match against Chile. He will now undergo a period of rehabilitation and is expected to return to training with the first team towards the end of October.

I have a feeling that he'll be one of those players who recover quicker than expected.

Look on the bright side fellas.

1) We didn't buy him outright

2) If he ever recoverrs it will be like a new signing.

So he'll be back just in time for November's internationals then? Perfect timing.

Excuse me while I go and place a bet.

Literally feels like there's a new serious injury every single week. It's got to the point where I'm dreading every Thursday pre-match conference as we all know somebody else will be out.

So, so frustrating. The Arsenal cameo made me really really excited to see what he could do with a few starts, too.

Well what's done is done, nothing we can do about the injury now, you hope going forward the club takes a harder line on international friendlies with players who aren't fully fit, we had a similar situation with Bentaleb. Means we are going to be overly relying on Eriksen and Dele again but there's a huge opportunity for Lamela now. Hopefully Lo Celso can get fit with that november international break and provide a boost heading into that winter period.

I hate to be all woe is me, but it’s really disheartening how bad our injury luck has been. And then you look at a club like Liverpool who seriously never seem to have injuries and it’s just completely mind boggling and rage inducing.
