If/when stadiums re-open to fans there will be one man who is the reason for me going on a covid infested tube train to the ground to watch spurs and his game is Giovanni Lo Celso. #baller

Really thought you were building up to an M. Night Shymalan twist and going to say Lucas Moura.

He's our best player and Mourinho's ruining it. The best of you have to surround him with the best, Lo Celso has to play with Ndombele and Winks.

His only goal output in the league being an assist off Michael Keane's chest is a pretty damning indication to the level of football Mourinho has us playing.

Keep in mind this guy only started one league game under Poch before he was sacked.

He is not wasted further forward. He needed to play in the hole behind lamela ... But he was most of the times on the wings yesterday
His best games for us so far have come from him playing deeper. He was wasted last night.

This, his passmap vs Bournemouth and Everton when he is in advanced position show that he isn't that good there (with current setup at least), when he plays in deeper position he is usually the best player on the team. Almost any game with him in deeper position he is the biggest dot on the map, receiving and making more passing, having most centrality etc. And whole team shape looks better.
This is vs Everton in advanced positon:

And this was against West Ham in deeper position:

How do those maps prove he isn't good higher up the pitch? Other than that we're shit at getting the ball forward.

I just see that we suck at advancing the ball unless Lo Celso does it. Not that he's better or worse in either position.
And I said that it doesn't work for him "at least in current setup". For whatever reason he is way better playing deeper for us.

Thn what is ndombele? 6?
I think he was heading for a diamond with Ndombele left and winks deep. Poch probably wanted Lo Celso as the player next to Ndombele but got fucked over when Dybala and Fernandes fell through. We heard Hoddle saying all summer that he knew their was a big budget available... And then we blew it on Sessegnon and Clarke and didn't get the quality players yet again

Every year same rumours same disappointments
