It wasn’t the ankle injury that forced him off, the horror tackle was in the 24th minute.
He was forced off in the 53rd minute with a groin injury, nothing to do with the tackle.

He shouldnt have played. For the long term for club and country 2 weeks training with us would have been ideal. National magers are so short sighted

They aren't short-sighted - they just don't care. It is understandable that managers such as Wenger and Ferguson used to hold their players back for some international games.

If they like playing for their countries, not sure it’s clever to withhold the fun / change of scene from them.

That's what manure did with Pogba and Wan-Bissaka. Fainting injuries.

Ugh. Really hope it’s not a serious injury. I was hoping he’d get some more minutes or even start in either of the Palace or Olympiakos matches.

It can’t be a coincidence that two of our new signings get injuries as soon as they join, Poch is deffo working then hard in training

It is irritating that Lo Celso was started in a friendly when he is still building up fitness for a new club after a disrupted pre-season.

And then shocker, he gets a groin injury...

What has a bad tackle on GLC got to do with training methods by poch?

Nothing to do with tackle it’s his groin. What baffles me is Pochettino can claim how far off Lo Celso is then starts an international friendly. Added to that played a full season for Betis then played in Copa and had 3/4 weeks off. Can a player really lose that much conditioning in a month ? The way Pochettino goes on it’s like he hadn’t played for a year, bit weird.

Poch may encouraged to go play to get more match fitness. If he hadn't have got injured it could have worked out well for him and us.

Why do you think he's playing, to get fit maybe?

A low intensity friendly is very different from a Premier League match.

It's still minutes. For me it's no different to giving players time in League Cup/early FA Cup games to build match-fitness.
