Was absolutely awful in the first half, pretty much the worst player on the pitch. To be fair to him he was very good in the second half and got a wonderful assist

We know his quality and bite, but his energy to get up and down was great to see. Should be working on a contract because we should be making him an important player for us in the long term.

Are there any clips of any potential shithousing from him in this game? I need to inject it into my veins.

He made one or two silly challenges in the first half but he wasn't anywhere near the worst player on the pitch.

Second half he was absolutely brilliant. His second assist and pass to Son for Richarlison's miss were both incredible.

Crappy first half. The real Lo Celso showed up in the second half.

he gave his all today. His mud filed jersey tells you everything you need to know about Lo Celso. What a player!

Just think how good he could be in this team with the matches under his belt to get his touch and full match fitness.

Yeah those sort of telling passes win you games. Showing his ability at the moment

Has a huge amount to contribute. Give him a new deal
We did that when he was on loan with us. He had a 4 or 5 match spell where he was excellent, signed his contract and then got injured/played shit/loaned out. Don't get me wrong he contributed today but I just wonder how committed he is.

I'm not sure if he will stick around, but this is the most 'at home' he's looked since joining the club.

I think his patch of form under Mourinho in 20/21 was overrated among our fans because he stood out in a stodgy unattractive team by looking busy off the ball compared to others. He wasn't very creative on it. This form is what I expected and hoped for: busy off the ball but dictating play on the ball. Stroking it around quickly and at the correct weight. He has the gift of putting the right placement on the pass to the running forward. In front of them to stride towards but not overhit or underhit.
