He was a little slack in possession in the 1st half but definitely improved in the 2nd half drove the team on was the only one that got on the ball and drove us forward .

Gio excellent today , made the odd error but he wasn't alone. Nice problem for Ange when all our midfield players are available and fit.

Favourite part today was him being the first one at the Bournemouth staff when Veliz went down, properly getting into them and getting a yellow off the pitch for his trouble. You'd hate his guts if he wasn't on your team because he can be a mad shithousing prick, but he's our mad shithousing prick that rattles them on and off the pitch and I love him for that. Was out of sync in the first half but gave his all. Finally found his rhythm later on and took the game away.

He got an assist and picked out several other incisive passes that could have led to more on another day...then was much better in the second half, when we enjoyed more possession.
