He really wasnt mate.

Was watching live and he was decent first half, outstanding second half.
He was a little slack in possession in the 1st half but definitely improved in the 2nd half drove the team on was the only one that got on the ball and drove us forward .

Ange on Gio

“Yeah Gio was great. He's been great the last two or three weeks. With the amount of injuries we've had and absences we've had, we've needed everyone in the group and everybody who has come in has stepped up. Gio was very good today, not just with his work rate but you could see his quality on the ball. His passes through and the one through to Sonny was outstanding. We needed him today and we're going to need him going forward because Sonny goes away now, Biss goes away, Pape goes away. So I thought he was a good contributor”

Him and bentancar will be massive with Maddison Sarr and Bissoma missing for the next month

although I wouldn’t be surprised to see Maddison back for the Brentford game

New contract required here. Happy he’s coming good, he always had it. Like how he gets involved in spats too, he cares - despite what his weirdo haters say!

Gio excellent today , made the odd error but he wasn't alone. Nice problem for Ange when all our midfield players are available and fit.

Favourite part today was him being the first one at the Bournemouth staff when Veliz went down, properly getting into them and getting a yellow off the pitch for his trouble. You'd hate his guts if he wasn't on your team because he can be a mad shithousing prick, but he's our mad shithousing prick that rattles them on and off the pitch and I love him for that. Absolutely go on Gio

Clearly better in the second half but still thought he was pretty good at nicking the ball on few occasions in first half. Showed his quality when needed in second half.

A random on Facebook posted a pic of himself with Madders today and said that Madders told him he was only a couple of games away from playing, so you might be right.

Was out of sync in the first half but gave his all. Finally found his rhythm later on and took the game away.
