Has really settled in quickly….seriously impressed.

To be fair, all of the players who've had a chance seem to have settled straight into Ange's style. Vicario, Udogie, VdV, Maddison, Bissouma, Solomon all look extremely comfortable with the freedom they've been given.

I love his passion. As someone who enjoyed being a defender myself, I get a kick out of seeing defenders and keepers who are passionate about plying their trade.

Only thing that worries me about Gil is the physicality of the league. Nothing wrong with his ability, attitude or work ethic, but he does need to toughen up.

Mate, 'winning me over' implies you had written him off after a couple of friendlies and one PL game in which he didn't actually do anything wrong other than look a tad nervous. What exactly were you looking for?

You reading way too much into it.... see a player shines and people get excited or he has an okay or average display and people comment. At no stage have I written him off....I just wasn't excited by him and as I said as we stand now....I'm happier than I was 2 months ago. It's really simple as that.

I felt we should have sent him on loan to a lower league in the championship or league one to help him adjust.

What Ange said in his presser was spot on. “During Covid we played without fans and the special moments weren’t special which goes to show it’s all about the fans”.

These players seem to get it and I’m bloody loving it!

It’s been said a lot about how nice it is to have a manager that is likeable and actually wants to be here.

The same can be said for our new arrivals in players such as Maddison and Vicario.

On top of this Son is relishing the armband, and is talking about the pride of captaining Tottenham Hotspur more than Hugo and Kane ever did.

Glad it has removed this myth of a new player has to stay on the bench for the next 2 months.

Vicario has done well so far and seems to have a good competitive attitude. Really pleased with the mindset that seems to have come from our recent recruits.
