Looked much more like the real Harry Kane today. Great to see. Absolutely love the guy.

Was a bit worried after Friday but he was much more like it today. Plenty of shots and powerful running on his goal and the counter attack where he narrowly missed. The way he burst through and took his goal so well late on will give him a lot of confidence and was a great response to the criticism he received.

It's clear he's the type of player that needs a lot of game time to hit top form, hope today was a big step forward.

Just wait til the next game we decide to sit deep and Kane will again be targeted for not doing enough. He played very well today, some good passing and good movement as well.I would like him to drift into the box a little more, or at least if he is going to have a walkabout have other players drift centrally.

He got off 6 shots, and when he does that, we know that his finishing is so good that it'll lead to goals. One of the most encouraging games from him in a long time. Plenty of good movement in and around the box as well.

Was excellent last night. Looks fired up & could see the relief when he scored that goal. Looking forward to him linking up with Sonny, Stevie & Gio in the coming games!

Imagine people actually wanted us to sell a world class striker knowing how we have struggled when trying to buy great strikers in the last 12 years

Imagine people actually believing he'd want to leave because of the tactics of our manager ...

Imagine having supporters that actually support the manager and the players . Still you can dream of such a thing but it won't happen.

See below for scoring stats for those at 1 club. Harry 2nd on the list and no doubt he would've been top had he not rushed back from injuries so quickly, or got over his August blip earlier!

Shame he couldn't quite get on the end of that cross in the last minute to equal Aguero. It's a pretty strange stat though - why only one club? What changes if you include multiple clubs in there? Think Shearer would be the only change, Sky seem a bit desperate to create some sort of "record" to break...

I'm always bewildered how Kane, even after 6 years of being incredible, continuously gets doubted, has to prove himself, and needs to move to an undefined big club in order to reach his potential.

If not for all those lay offs over the last 3 years, he'd have smashed that 200 PL apps record ages ago. He is the real deal. He's the England captain. He is the best all round centre forward this country has produced since Alan Shearer, and he hasn't dipped in goal return since that goal against Limassol back in August 2014. And he's one of us.

Be thankful he's at our club at all.

Couldn't agree more. What are people actually thinking when they say it may be time to sell etc. Who in world football could we buy, and would come to us, that would score more & be a better foil for our other players? The answer is simple, nobody.

He loves Tottenham, scores goals for fun, works hard, has a winning mentality, will soon be captain, and creates a lot of goals. The guy is world class it is as simple as that.

Kane is the consummate professional and is always looking to improve.

His passing is exquisite at times, the outside of the foot attempt to put Dele in on goal yesterday was a great example, just shy of perfection and the sort of technique that Eriksen at his peak would have won plaudits for.

What I found really exciting though, was the acceleration he showed in the 58th minute yesterday where he ran the full length of the pitch to just put wide Lo Celso's lay off with his left foot. It was the best move of the match from us, but Kane put on the burners in the last third and I don't think I have ever seen him sprint that fast. Rather than having lost speed, I think he may actually be in better shape than ever and clearly not harbouring hamstring concerns.

I rather suspect that Kane is intent on showing that the best is still to come, and I wouldn't be surprised to seem him go on a real roll to close out this season.

There are a lot of trolls on this site - or at least a number of people who never have anything positive to say...

So tired of this sociopathic ruthless mentality that some fans have over individuals at our club who mean so much and make us who we are. Poch got it. Kane gets it. All in the name of “trophies”

Eriksen never made passes like that. He was never any good at through balls.

The diagonal ball with curve that the poster referred to was exactly the sort of pass Eriksen pulled off in his pomp. The pass Son slid thru for Kane to score late on from was more of the type of through ball you would probably not associate with Eriksen

back to his best you can see why Jose wanted to get 90mins in him the other night. Long term we need a proper back up to not burn him out.
