The only slight issue I have with Perisic, and it is very slight, is whether he can handle premier league teams physically at his age.

I am not concerned with him playing most European teams.

However, with the 5 sub rule, I am not too concerned.

Maybe he won't play too many minutes in the premier league

Have I answered my own question??
Very true regarding the 5 sub rule, also there are more positives with this signing; experience of playing under Conte, Sess is bound to learn so much from him in with the LWB role, he can also play as a winger, he has the experience of winning a title which enhances our squad similar to kulu and Ben.

We really needed winners in our squad, winners that will help the others cross the white line.

Partnerships / understanding are so important in football. We could be about to add three of Conte's title-winning Inter team who all played closely together.

The thing is sports science is a major part of football as well as other sports. Every player is monitored and specific plans whether it be food or conditioning strength or training are prepared individually as well as team wise. If it was the 80's or 90's I would be concerned.
There are so many examples already given of players currently playing to a high level in their 30's.
The NFL and rugby which are far more physical games have players in their mid to late thirties playing to a high level.
So where there is a risk that age could affect his performance in the league, I believe it is a very small risk compared to what it would have been previously.

I've been wondering how he can do the medical already, considering he had that knee injury. Could someone fill me in?

I'm pretty sure it's only a knee sprain, correct? I believe it's been 2 weeks since the injury, he can definitely perform normal functions, just not play a full 90 minutes of professional football.

I think to many people judge players as soon as they hit 30, personally I only they hit 35 we should start thinking of them loosing the yard they need.

Paratici would have to be back wouldn't he? But he needs to get the Bastoni deal done! So head back to Milan tonight Fabio

Feck off already this morning.

Liverpool thread, arguing about age. Perisic thread...age.

Can't a guy eat his smashed avocado on toast, topped with egg and salmon, all washed down with orange juice freshly squeezed between the cleavage of nanny Ethel.

Edit: I may have lied about the Salmon.
