I think Carragher said hamstring at half time but that's the only place I heard it and he wouldn't know anything about the injury.
Hopefully he only misses Wolves with the international break right after.

He rolled his left ankle slightly, I thought it was Achilles until I saw it on a replay.
Yeah I noticed this immediately after it happened.

I think the sub was more a case of not taking any chances considering we had to sure up our defence and needed to take a player or two off. Might be a doubt for Wolves but I can't see him being out long term.

Thnak god he is ok. We are going to have to dig deep and really try to dominate midfield battles and score a lot of goals if we hope to win

He's had quite a few like this this season where he's pulled up or been kicked or had to come off as a precaution.

Hopefully its another low level one where he mabye worst case doesn't train and then is fit again to play at the weekend.

At the time with the VDV injury also I thought this could be his achillies by the way he pulled up but hopefully not too serious as he'd be a huge loss.

If he is out I assume Bentancur would come in as don't see it being Lo Celso personally but who knows.

Would rather Maddison sit this out if I’m honest even if deemed fit.

Dead rubber games against Malta and North Macedonia isn’t what the doctor ordered.

I would too, but from his point of view it may be a chance to impress with the Euros in the summer.

a bit ot but football.london is a horrible website with all the adds. every time i open an article i end up leaving immediately
If using your phone, you can use the aA icon (top left on URL bar) to 'Show Reader', this clears up the article no end and your can read without ads etc.

Typical Maddison. Pretends he’s injured just before the international break so that he’s fresh to play for Argentina.
