Tbh I’m not sure who is going to pay 50 mil for Maddison, it seems it’s primarily between us and Newcastle and neither teams seems to want to go above 40.

Maddison should be our top priority alongside some CBs. Would completely transform our midfield by adding some creativity and technical ability in the attacking midfield position, something we've lacked for 3 years, which quite frankly is an absolute embarassment from the club.

Paulinha who’s had 1 season in the league- Fulham want £90M
Maybe Leicester will look at what’s going on around them and ask for even more. For me Maddison is a much better player than Mount

Look at what we would want for Harry
Were in a pickle as we don't want to pay top whack but that's what other teams in our league can charge as they get that sweet TV money too (Leicester will get a parachute payment)so it's all well and good hoping for them to drop the price. It they can afford to take the risk, just like we can with Kane.
But we desperately need homegrown players. Something has to give.

But then you're missing the pertinent point in that Leicester are in the Championship and need to cut their cloth accordingly without PL TV revenue.
