He has to make a fuss if he’s being priced out of a move & made to play in a league, clearly well below his level.
He signed a contract to play for that football club regardless of what league they are in surely? He was part of the squad that got relegated, so to now decide he's too good seems a bit off to me.He has to make a fuss if he’s being priced out of a move & made to play in a league, clearly well below his level.

Either way, I hope we treat this in a similar way to the Raya situation, make what we deem to be a suitable offer and if it's way off the mark, move on.
Maybe; depends on alternatives.Wouldn't surprise me if we take a similar stance with Leicester as we have done with Brentford in that unless the terms are alot more palatable to us then we will conclude business fairly swiftly elsewhere as you get the sense that we want key players for Postecoglou in for the upcoming tour.
Yeah I do think the Maddison deal is more unique in the sense that he's literally the only PL proven player with such a high goal/assist rate that we're ever going to be able to attract/afford.Maybe; depends on alternatives.
If we decided Vicario was an acceptable alternative to Raya then it makes sense to move on. But, lets say Postecoglou says the drop-off to our back up plan here is too great - then I think we have to stick with the negotiations, and be prepared to pay a little more than we originally wanted. (And maybe that is why we are looking a less expensive alternatives elsewhere)
Nobody is paying £60 million for him. Not even city.
I’m not sure it was a precedent, more we have a valuation for that particular player, which obviously isn’t £40m. It may well be circa £50m and if they won’t move then we walkWe have set a precident with Raya,
Anything above 45m , walk away
How much Scott and Hatate?
That’s fair.Maybe; depends on alternatives.

Both should be soldI think he's the best homegrown option for us now.
Not sure how much this will factor for the rest of the window. From this season with loans excluded you would think one of Tanganga or Sess should be sold.
As long as we get 2 home grown or maybe keep Spence and sign 1 like Maddison. Both should be sold
I'd keep Spence and push Porro further up the field, Porro scores goalsAs long as we get 2 home grown or maybe keep Spence and sign 1 like Maddison.
Yep, he’s good.I'd keep Spence and push Porro further up the field, Porro scores goals
So if Lego is plural what the hell do you call a single piece of Lego. A leg? God the English language is so weird sometimes.Lego*
it is already pluralised
Well Lego is a danish word. But a single piece of Lego is called a Lego brick, or a piece of Lego. There’s even a section on their website explaining it.So if Lego is plural what the hell do you call a single piece of Lego. A leg? God the English language is so weird sometimes.
