Yeah i don't really care either way, just an observation that he is not the huge arrogant herbert i thought he was, well he probably is, but not in my mind.

so either way, Good lad Jimmy if we sign him and utterly fuck him upside the neck if we don't.
I think from (an older, fading) memory, that he was a little more arrogant as a youngster - I’ve seen him mentioned here since he was about 16. It’s totally reasonable for his attitude to have mellowed and improved.

I'm just glad that twitter didn't exist when I was 16. I would have totally embarrassed myself.

Yes but he won't go next season for £40mil, because no way does Madison play a season in the Championship.
And Leicester simply can’t afford to let him walk away for free given their perilous FFP situation!

Good Newcastle source saying we’re favourites and expect it wrapped up fairly quick after the international games.

As I said, we are 100% his preferred destination. Progress has been made on this one and I'm confident it will happen. But nothing is straight forward with us 😅. His preference for us and Base being involved gives us a significant advantage over Newcastle. Let's hope we can get this and Raya done ASAP!

Would be great to get him around 40m just not 50m plus for me. Crazy to think how good a deal Bissouma was with 1 year left. Home grown certainly plays a part but not to that extent.

A couple of ‘ITK’s’ on Twitter (yes I know 🙄) have hung their hat on Maddison to Tottenham for weeks, even arguing with Newcastle fans and telling them to wait and see so they can gloat.
Things are getting spicy 😂

Maddisson is the transfer I've wanted for a few years now.
HG, attacking, set pieces.
Could honestly be a game changer for this team (especially if we keep Harry and stop defending like u5's)

I would like to think that this would happen in a matter of days due to Maddison finishing England duty and then going on holiday, but knowing Tottenham it will be 31st August so that we can save a couple of mil

£30m for Raya and £40m for Maddison feels about right in todays market, even with only 1 year left on their contracts.
If we can’t get these 2 plus a decent CB and offload a good chunck of the players Ange sees no use for I’ll be happy with that for a first window.

If we can get him and raya fairly quickly after the internationals, that would be excellent business. 1st friendly about a month away, so important to get some signings like this before we get started. Obviously we might not get them, but personally feel a lot more positive and starting to forget about last year.

Wow. Being a London club definitely has its perks.
It’s always been a draw. It’s not going to always be the primary consideration, but if you have the chance to live in London near all your mates and your wife’s mates, or be stuck up in Newcastle it’s a no brainier.

Goals and assists will also play a part, whether that's right is another discussion however, but i can see the logic.

Players will usually always chose coming to London rather than going to somewhere like Newcastle, why wouldnt you?

It is the main reason why I've been fairly confident he will chose us over Newcastle. Add to that we will pay him more too. Of course it might not happen if Leicester would rather sell him to Newcastle than us, but I've been fairly relaxed it will happen if we can stump up the cash.

If we get it done 2 first team upgrades before deadline day!

Assuming he comes be interesting to see what his wage level is, at Leicester he is reportedly on £5,720,00. Am guessing he would be looking for at least £8 million which would put him around the Romero level and that would still leave him behind comparable players at Chelsea, Liverpool etc.

Probably time for Levy to up our wage/revenue ratio.

Other wage sites are available and all may be wrong,
