Cost us two points today gifting possession to them for Saka's goal. Seems to be more interested diving, chirping at players / refs or bantering with the crowd.

Cut out the big man act and just play football.

He plays like he's just going off vibes, he wasn't like this in the first ten games of the season.

He's been found out along with the team setup and he hasn't been able to adjust, doing the simple things in possession would help him a lot but he can't even do that.

Gio moves with purpose and looks better because he's in control.

I think he needs to ride the bench for the last few games now. Let him get his mojo back over the summer for next season

He clearly needs to be dropped.

The mentality of you get to play based on performance is very powerful. Lo Celso is clearly playing much better and we looked so much better once he went off.

I don't feel he's conducive to anything positive right now, either in a creative sense (his primary role) or how him drifting is negatively impacting our defensive shape out of possession.

You can see why we are now looking heavily at AM's because quite frankly, I don't want to be relying on Maddison as our sole creative hub going into next season and by extension, should be seen a squad rotation player not an untouchable 'must start'.

Got a mate who is a Leicester fan who warned me he is a purple patch player who goes missing when the going gets tough. I thought he was just being bitter but my god Maddison has been dreadful since his return.

Sounds spot on, bottles every 50/50 and is a passenger when we’re not in full flow. He needs benching until end of season, playing much better without him.

He's a quality player but he's not the level of a Modric or an Eriksen. Those 2 were worthy of starting every game but Maddison isn't droppable. I do think GLC has shown enough to have a run in the first team. That would give us a good chance to decide whether to renew his contract or sell.

Yep a lot of leicester fans have said this. He plays well for a third of the season (usually when its time to champion him to play for england). Plays crap for another third. Then he is injured for the final third. That has seemed to be the story of madders for the last three seasons.

first ten games he was a shoe in for bargain of the season, such a shame. I like the guy and like the way he talks no nonsense but he needs to start showing up.

I had doubts about him when we signed him as I'd never really been that impressed with him as a player however he really made me look an idiot in those first few months when he was absolutely brilliant however in the past few months he has returned to the player I was not that impressed with. I've no idea if I was right about him or if I'm still an idiot.

I wouldn’t even pick him in the England squad at the moment, he’s been absolute rubbish

Wouldn't write him off indefinitely but he would definitely benefit from coming off the bench. Kulu looked up for it today and so did Johnson.

I get starting him today.

I wont get starting him against Chelsea.

Postecoglu needs to be getting these selections right. At the moment he's not.

Love madders but he’s so off form and in such a crucial role. Needs some time on the bench for me. GLC should get a decent run now, always looks so calm and measured in his play.
