Scored for Millwall today with a header from a set piece away at Southampton.
Don’t think he is good enough to play at the top level and always seems to be injured, but always seems a decent sort, so hope he can kick on and make a good career for himself.

Hopefully as he is seemingly getting game time now his performances will improve between now and end of the season. He didn't play once during the earlier loan did he?

Millwall fans seem happy with him.

I think sometimes a player just needs to find the right environment. Last season Rodon didn't look half the player he is now. But he's flourishing in an environment that suits him.
Tanganga needs time after a really bad few years with injuries and I'm sure he'll end up with a Premier League club

He lacks any football intelligence to ever make it big in premiership

A comment from someone who’s football intelligence itself is questionable. Please expand your point oh great fountain of knowledge. Why is Japhet Tanganga (a professional footballer) at a top club not likely to make it? Age, attributes, etc etc? You got inside knowledge or is it a hunch? Am I calling you out, well probably and I’m sorry, but it’s easy this sort of stuff.

Agree.

He looked really good on his debut for us and had a bright start.

But a few bad performances, injuries and more injuries left him struggling to perform and get game time.

He's only just started out for Millwall but if he can excel at Championship level then he might have a career still to play for. He's 24 and has only played 27 professional games at club level. Time for him to impress and move on.

It doesn’t take a footballing genius like yourself to see that Tanganga isn’t particularly good. I’d be absolutely astonished if he played for us ever again.
Milwall is his level..

Doubt it. Do you think he would get a game for Luton. Rodon is playing in a league which Burnley ripped apart last season. Burnley come up and are getting well beat most games. if Rodon was that good a prem lge team would have taken him. 3 of our managers didn’t want him. I hope Leeds get promoted so they can afford to buy him, if not someone else will. We need to shift these on loan players.
Nothing against these players, Jaffa always did his best. You eventually find your level.

You've been on here a long time and should know by now that football doesn't work that way. Burnley ripped the championship apart and Luton got promoted by the skin of their teeth....lo and behold Luton are 7 points clear of their former championship rivals and have a game in hand. Why? Because they play a game which is more suited to get them results.

Another example is Dier, who couldn't get a game with us and since his transfer to Bayern has been ever present in the league. My point is that different players suit different systems and different teammates in different ways. Rodon playing a system which is more in line with his style is always going to benefit him, in fact I have no doubt if he was 3 years younger people would be clambering to have him back as 3rd/4th choice for Ange such is his suitability.

Tanganga is a different type of player, more aggressive, more reliance on his physical ability and more suited to a RCB on a 3 rather than in our system. He showed against Liverpool and Man City that he's capable but he's not progressed for one reason or another. That doesn't mean that he's not good enough for this level. I think he is but he needs the right set up for him.

His injuries were always a big factor in his progress similar to Sess. Injury free who knows how they would have developed. It's just a shame for them but hope Tanganga gets a run without injuries as it sucks when a player has so many

As @dontcallme says above, he's only played 27 senior games of football due to injuries but he was highly thought of as a youngster.
I don't really think that anyone has seen enough of him to say that "Millwall is his level" with such conviction.

It's as bad as someone who said "Skipp is Sunday league level at best" not that long ago.
It's just nonsense.

I think he’ll do well at a lower end prem team ( eg Crystal Palace ) or a higher end championship team ( Southampton, West Brom ). I think that’s his ceiling.
