Walker would do well to recognise that he was an inconsistent player who made numerous defensive errors with little in the way of attacking end product, until he benefitted from Pochettino's coaching.

IF he's agitating for a move, then let the fucker rot in the reserves for the rest of the season, then fuck him off abroad! If he can't see how close this team is to achieving something monumental, then I don't want him anywhere near the rest of our players dropping little bits here and there, destabilising the group! Much like ade/azza et al, before poch got rid!

I'm not sure that's fair. He won PFA young player in 2012.

I don't believe there's something severe between Poch and Walker. Remember what Poch did to Townsend and Bentaleb? Poch would have left Walker outside the team if Walker did have a row with him. I think Poch might just be disaffected with Walker's recent performances in training and in matches.

This is also what I'm pinning my hopes on. I do think there's something going on, but the situation clearly has not yet deteriorated to Bentaleb/Townsend status.

Nor do I. It's just a convenient excuse because he maybe wants to earn himself some oil money and this is how the agent can dress it up so the player doesn't get blame from the fans.

I agree. It was Redknapp that set Walker on his path and porch has refined it superbly.

What Walker and Man City want to remember though is that there's Kyle Walker under poch and then there's Kyle Walker at whatever club he goes to. They aren't necessarily going to be the same player.

Thad under Porch - sound like an idyllic village in the English countryside!

Agreed. The best possible solution of this Walker incident is a new contract ensures him another 10-20k every week, but this will be harmful to our wage structure.

I am always aware of that we'll have trouble keeping our key players with comparatively low money, never thought Walker to be the first though...

Why would we want to weaken our team? You think our rivals will do that?
Well, there's a good chance De Gea will go to Real, Costa and Hazard have been linked with transfers away as well, same with Aguero.

You think they will be replaced by up and coming youngsters untested at this level? Chelsea will go and spunk 150 mill on Griezman and Lukaku

KWP is not in the same planet as KW right now, and to suggest so is ludicrous.

Walker leaving and us trying to replace him would be awful for us, but Walker leaving and us just rotating Trippier and KWP would leave us with the weakest RB position in the Top 6.

Sincerely hope he's just after a bit of skrilla from us.

Exactly. If they've fallen out and he has to go, you spend the money on new right back. Surely some good ones out there for 40 plus million

I'm not saying KWP is as good as Walker, but how much of him in youth football have you watched?

Not enough to write a detailed scouting report on him, but enough to know he's not better than the best RB in the Premier League.
Me too, but a lot of the youth observers suggest he has special talent - particularly when it comes to attacking. At some point he's going to need a pathway to the side or he'll become a wasted talent.

So what is the point in investing in our youth system if we go out and spend money once a player is sold? If Poch thinks KWP is ready, I would be happy for him to be introduced like Kane and Winks were. Poch may not think this but who is to know. If Walker does go and we do not sign a Right Back, I will trust the same judgement that pushed Dier into CM and introduced Winks this season.

My preference would be to keep Walker but that may not be an option.
