There’s always seemingly a problem with our transfers. Aurier’s transfer rings a bell what with paying for his lawyers... Porro’s protracted saga… Lo Celso & the creative accounting £14m loan deal with the psg sell-on hurdle… I genuinely don’t know whether all clubs have these issues or if it’s just us? Liverpool made the Mac Allister signing look soooo easy. £35m - DONE. What is it with us?
Biss was pretty easy and by the middle of June

Likely getting legal opinion especially after Shaktar have said they'll sue us if we sign him on a free.

Sell Gil and get Solomon on a free and use the funds for priority targets.
Gil does not score goals and holds onto the ball too long which is not what we require for a pacy transition.
I want all our forwards and attacking midfielders to be able to score goals.

I hope this one has legs. Aside from the fact that he's Israeli and I'd love another Israeli at Spurs...but he plays LW, RW, 10, fullback if needed, is 23 so still young and improving, on a free without massive wages and he has a skillset which we don't have currently. He is very direct, very quick and runs at players for fun but doesn't lack a final ball. He has proven at international & club level that he has the talent to be a matchwinner as well.

Fulham in negotiations for Lucas Ocampos, same position as Solomon, could indicate we’re now his preferred choice.

I really hope we make a move for him. I know the legal situation could put us off a bit, as we've had enough negative news on that front over the past season or two (lol)

Only logged 829 minutes last season at Fulham in 24 total appearances which is about 34 minutes per appearance. In those cameos, he's averaging .63 non-penalty goals per 90 (99th percentile) and 2.99 successful take-ons per 90 (94th percentile). Seems to work hard defensively as well.

The take-ons really stand out to me as it's been covered that Ange usually looks for wingers that can go either way and take on their defender. Think this would be a really nice under the radar signing.

His 1 on 1 ability is what really strikes me aswell, I think we really miss that in our team.
This would be a smart signing.

His 1 on 1 stats are very good. Attached a screenshot from fbref.

The big thing for Solomon is sorting the creative side. His passing, shot/goal creating actions and final ball are letting him down badly at the moment compared to the higher performing wingers like Jota, Doku, Lauriente and Williams.

If he can improve that significantly with a coach like Ange then he could really explode.

I know it's beaten to death, but it would be a nice factor that he's had a PL season in London under his belt already too. I only see that as a positive

I've got a preference for one of Williams, Doku, Lauriente or Jota in that order but if we can't get them, then I think the next best bets are one of Solomon, Gnonto or Sulemana.
