May be proven wrong but I personally think we’re signing the better player of the two out of VDV and Tapsoba. Also don’t give a shit about the price, as it’s now fixed our last huge weakness in the first 11. I think he’ll turn out to be worth it anyway

Would explain the delays to be fair. We probably have some budget left without a Kane sale but if the numbers are more like €50m for VDV and €70m for Tapsoba then for sure a possible Kane sale would effect our CB business plan.

I've not seen Tapsoba as much but VDV looks a player, I'm excited about him and his potential.

Sure, but if he's who Ange wants (and it seems he's tailor made for his system), I'm good with it. Think it most likely puts Tapsoba out of range though. Sutalo would do nicely for me in that case.
