37. The smallest irregular prime number. Perhaps VDV is a math hobbyist. He couldn’t get the conventional number 5, and the club wouldn’t let him be Euler’s number because custom printing large e’s just for his shirt would kill merch profits, so he chose 37.
It was recently published that Mbappe's number will be "i".

Just on this, seen someone make a point on twitter that was pretty interesting.

Him and Romero both wearing the bibs suggests that they could be the staring duo for Brentford.
Given how much stock Ange puts in pace in the back line and how he seemed specifically keen on us signing VdV, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he starts him (assuming his fit enough).

Davies is a solid pro, but he's really not a "back 4" CB.

Thrown in at the deep end, then loses his centre back partner early on in a game against two pacy strikers who are constantly on the move. Thought that was an excellent start. Think we've found one there.

I think he looks like the absolute definition of world class potential in a CB. Positioning and anticipation, calm on the ball and absolutely rapid. The building blocks are there for him to become a phenomenal player

22 year old with only a few training sessions and with his expected partner taken off after 15 mins away from home. Produced a brilliant performance.

He looked so confident whenever the ball was at his feet, and always took the chance to step up and make interceptions. Very impressive.

Think he had a good game, was unlucky with the deflection.
For someone who has been here a week or so, seemed composed and a calming influence, in a hard away game.
Will grow in to that position along side Romero.
