As much as I disliked him, Pape reminds me of Patrick Vieira. He has that long gate running style.

Our team fell apart when he left in January 2019. We were cruising at 3rd in the PL at that point, having averaged over 2.2 points per game, but then averaged only 1.4 points per game after he left.
I know he was out injured for some of the first half of the season, but he made a big impact in the games that he was involved in - including turning the tide from the bench several times.

Unfortunately, all demi-gods have a weakness. For him it was his hip, for King it was knees. Both could well otherwise have been in conversation as the best in the world (perhaps best of their generation) for their position.

Love Pape. So happy he is back. I think he’ll be fine for tomorrow, probably one of the fittest players we have. He’ll be right back and bringing all his energy.
