Really impressive player. So fast tough in tackle with controlled aggression. His attacking play is clearly top quality. The ball he played in behind utd for deki shows he has a good footballing brain too. I think him and royal gives us such a good choice to mix it up and have cover, rotate etc.

porro’s attacking output is phenomenal for a right back. If he can continue to play solidly defensively then we’ve got some player on our hands.

I thought he couldn't defend ? Lovely all round performance yesterday.
I mean first half he was out of position literally every time. We were lucky it was a very out of form garnacho. If it was rashford at left wing we would have been a few down st half time. He was much better second half.

Yeah he was terrible defensively first half but improved a lot in the second half.

Just to echo most people’s thoughts on here, he was clearly playing a roll yesterday that suited us in the final third. Defensively needs work but no denying the talent this lad has. Scored goals at Sporting outside the box and by bombing forward to support the attack. We just need to make sure our CBs tuck in when needed and hopefully will work 👍🏻

I'm not sure he was out of the position he'd been told to play though as both him and Udogie came inside and played more central. The old keeper cb's full/wingbacks V shape has gone in this system and like as not our two CB’s play through the middle now.

There’s no way he’s being told that when we are defending in our own box. Plus there were times he was stood on rashford in the box when he had both cbs already on him leaving shaw or garnacho just completely open
