Chuffed with the draw...

Especially with Arsenal's dark arts -
Their splashdown falling over with no contact then running around like spring chickens the next minute. So pleased we went toe to toe with them

It’s truly amazing how we have somehow backed into a phenomenally balanced back 4. Udogie the progressive carrier, Porro the progressive passer and Romero being the heat-seeking missile to Van De Ven’s composed technical approach.

I think the part that excites me about Porro is we are destined to see Bentancur back out there doing the clean up role Sarr has been tasked with. Bentancur is a fantastic reader of the game, and if he gets back to his best that should unlock Porro even further to get upfield and really be the playmaker he is. Exciting times!

Really impressed with him. People were writing him off way too soon especially considering he was chipping in with quality goals and assists. Only just 24 and looks like a real upgrade on Royal after all. Great stuff.

He’s clearly listening & learning. And adapting very quickly.

I thought he was a bad signing because he was bought as a wing-back when we all knew Conte was out. The fact he’s now playing (well) as an inverted full back is huge credit to him, as well as Ange for coaching him.

What I like about Porro the most is there is clearly some steel and grit to his character too

fist pumping with the late defensive block he made

Amazing how well he's adapted to Ange's style of football. I like many thought he'd be a liability in this system yet he's done really well and his defensive work is actually pretty good. Love that is he fully COYS and gets properly engaged with the fans.

Can I just say how fucking impressed I am with Porro and Udogie. Both were bought as flying wingers and Porro last season struggled so much at times that I really was close to writing him off. They've then taken to playing the inverted winger thing like fish to water and have looked rock solid in a fairly exposed defensive system.

I like Porro. Much improved player under Ange.

The man has passion; indeed facially, he always looks as if if he wants to kill the nearest opposition player.

I can buy into that.

it's kinda crazy how Royal was flying so high (obviously he's very one dimmensional) but Porro just ripped this starting role from him and has run away with it. Some of the passes he has played are crazy and one major thing i hope he improves in is his final ball on those quick low crosses. Feel like they always hit the defender, but man oh man we got a perfect player for this system

My teen son had been raving about Porro when he joined to the point I thought he’s taking the piss. Last season it seemed like his legs disappeared when defending. Don’t know what big Ange and the coaching team have done to him but he’s immaculate at the moment. Arse*** were a big test with a very effective high press. He nailed it.

he doesn't really have to defend as much anymore, we are playing on the front foot a majority of matches and he has to run back in transition so he doesn't have to overthink defending and just going off of instincts

One dangerous whipped cross was all it took. That aside, thought he was faultless throughout. What a performance and what a player!

I feel sorry for Emerson as he had been very good but he has no chance of starting while Porro plays like this. He’s been top drawer this season. Defending with such aggression and determination, stopping counter attacks frequently with his pace and of course has immense quality going forward. Best RB in the league right now.

I know we talk about the transformation that Ange has brought to the team - but sometimes the players deserve credit for that effort too.

Porro came here as a wingback. Struggled a bit in pre-season with the defensive responsibilities of a fullback, and has done nothing but work hard to fight his way into the XI.

I was certain Royal was going to be the primary RB - but Porro has shown that he deserves his spot with his play and effort.
