He'll be 27 this summer...You might be right but he's still only 24(?), has prem experience, champions league experience, and even a cap for England, so I feel he could definitely do a job as a squad player for us.

I think we’ll keep Davies mostly for CB rotation, sell Royal and target an inverted fullback who can plausibly cover either side. Emerson is just wasted in this system that demands all the things he struggles with and rarely highlights his defensive talents.I just don't see our recruiting team targeting a 27-yo player in the championship. It just does not fit our current squad-building operation.
He is not going to grow into a player who can replace Porro or Udoggie, and he is not at the level to slot in seamlessly now.
I think we will probably replace Davies with a younger player, and save Royal's replacement for the following summer, or maybe January. Royal is, after all - 2 years younger than KWP, and more likely to improve.
If we sell Royal - we would have to get a LB and a RB - because Davies can't cover that role any more.I think we’ll keep Davies mostly for CB rotation, sell Royal and target an inverted fullback who can plausibly cover either side. We need that either way because Royal (while a more talented traditional fullback) is even less of an inverted FB than Davies. I think a reasonably two-footed player comfortable in the inverted role could probably cover both sides better than either of them.If we sell Royal - we would have to get a LB and a RB - because Davies can't cover that role any more.
For CBs - we would have Dragusin and Phillips as CB 3 and 4, with Royal an emergency 5.
I genuinely have no idea what he's trying to say here...
So he's saying, porrol' me?Hugging himself better?

Oh ffs. I spent more time than I'm willing to admit trying to decipher it.Gyokeres celebration who scored yesterday against Benfica.
This is a concern. But it's not a tragedy. As far as replacements go, Royal is one of our better onesStill not seeing him in training media...
