If they're willing to part with Sancho then I'd happily do a deal that would involve PEH + £££

Can't see that deal happening for a variety of reasons though.
Even a Sancho deal, wont happen for wages reason.
His weekly wages are obscene - 350k a week.

If it's a significant cash deal and we look seriously at Palhinha then perhaps but I don't particularly fancy a makeweight in a Maguire deal who I don't see as a viable fit at all.

For the record;
Sanchez > Maguire > Dier

So we'd potentially bring in a player on higher wages who doesn't fit the system, and get rid of a useful enough midfield player.. in a swap deal? All while adding another CB who isn't good enough to our list of CB'S who aren't deemed good enough. This is crazy talk

Who would you rather Sanchez and dier or Maguire and one of them ?

It's a shame we have to choose between a bunch of poor players because there's a deal to be had.

We should have secured a good rotation option at CB a month ago. Not having to choose based on "who's a little less poor..."

Not to mention the added bloating of the squad that will no doubt cause trouble later.

Why are we talking about Palhinha? Has he even been mentioned in passing by anyone, or is he just someone that someone said?

Also why strengthen United? No to PEH or Reggie going there IMO.

ITK from WLB saying that we inquired about Palhinha - here.

People saying PEH offers us something off the bench, of course he does! But do you really think he'll be happy just coming on to play closer and playing 20 minutes every match?

I think we're falling into the PL trap that nobody other that PL clubs can afford our players wages.
I wouldn't want to sell to United but maybe we're not going to be left with much of a choice and we do need to clear the decks.

I got no problem with Reggie or PEH going to United. They’re surplus to our requirements and we need to trim the squad. We’re not getting many offers for our players, many teams in Europe don’t have the money and I see no Saudi offers either. If we can sell 2 unwanted players ( either because they don’t suit our new system or we have better players ) even to a PL “rival” then I’m ok with it.
