A lot of people talk about him being bad with the ball but I think he’s ok with the ball. He can certainly pick a pass and also has an eye for a goal.

The main issue with him in this system is that he slows everything down. I can see why we bought him while Mourinho was in charge but he really doesn’t suit the way Ange wants to play.
That's fair he can pass the ball when given time and space. I'd say it's actually his ability to defend coupled with mobility that is his biggest problem. For a player bought as the defensive man of the two he's pretty bad at it.

It's sad that he's ended up being emblematic of four bleak, depressing, regressive years because he's a good player and a good bloke. Just isn't at our tempo anymore. Wish him well wherever (or whether) he goes.

Its January. I am sure teams are bi-curious and just seeing what we would take to move him on and free up a roster space.

When they see what Levy is packing, they lose their sense of curiosity.
Carry on, nudge-nudge, and all that ..!

Him and Dier are in the same boat. There very good pros, have a great attitude, you can tell they always try there best and care about the club. They just dont suit our playing style, they should be moved on, but they deserve the outmost respect and gratitude for there service.

Of course Davies injury was a result of him blocking the Burnley breakaway from Hojbjerg’s hospital pass.

Of course not entirely his fault, but you always feel the opposition will get some joy when he’s playing. Be it a goal or reckless play leading to things like injuries. For everyone’s sake, including his own, we need to get him moved on this Jan.

Completely agree. Good block late on that Vic was probably saving but he gave away the corner with a sloppy pass and the one that caused Davies injury was just sloppy as hell.

Davies getting hurt playing football is in no way Højbjerg fault.

Earlier in the season someone blamed Bissouma's dive and second yellow on Richarlison not scoring in the game.

The constant need to point fingers at players we don't like is ridiculous. And so tiring.

But you do accept that if PEH had done what he did it was unlikely that Ben would have got injured don’t you. Ben over stretched to help us keep a clean sheet. He should not have been put in that position. It was unnecessary.
You do get that don’t you?

Yes, and you can go further back in infinity, connecting each moment up until that point if you like to as well. It is a pointless argument. It is a cynical argument with the sole purpose to blame someone.

And I'm sure you get that Davies actual job is to be on the pitch in case situations like this happen. He got hurt doing his job. It absolutely sucks, but it's not Højbjerg who inflicted the injury on him.

Also, Højbjerg is playing with much higher risk under Ange than previously. It doesn't really suit him, but those are Ange's instructions, which he himself says he is to blame for if we want to blame anyone. But that's the point, we don't always have to.

Nice condescending tone there. I get what you're saying, and you're right in the fact that without PEH making the mistake, Davies wouldn't have got injured. But you can't attribute every bad thing to happen to us as an overanalysed game of pointing fingers. It's a game of millions of different outcomes being decided in split seconds. And let's be honest, if Son gave it away further up the pitch and say, bissouma stretched and pulled up trying to rectify the mistake. You wouldn't be bringing it up.

We're responding to someone saying he changed the game. He didn't, porro hitting a worldy did. Hojbjerg was average at best.
