Definitely. I usually interpret it as something along the lines of 'watch this space'.
WLB has hit the nail on the head in the ITK Discussion Thread. Dragusin is definitely one to watch and the more likely in my eyes. Todibo isn't an easy one to do but we are trying. I don't really care which we get as long as we do it quickly. Ideal world is the new CB is in and playing alongside VdV for UTD.

Seems to be lots of games going on with this one.
The player himself even indicated tonight he expects to sign a new deal at Genoa

Wasn’t the wording, “they’d reach an agreement”

The agreement is, he’s leaving.
I'd expect so, he's not an Italian boy at his boyhood club, he's been shipped around a bit.

The opportunity to play in the PL must be alluring and he has the Bentancur and Kulusevski links.

This is the one I think and he speaks English and likes the sea.... (what's not to like)

Again what’s he meant to say? If no one comes in and buys him they likely WILL reach an agreement, but he’s not going to stand there and talk about other teams coming in for him and moving on having just played for his current club.

Would certainly prefer Todibo as he is much more comfortable with ball at his feet and he looks faster. Defensively as well he seems more assured but that’s obviously going to be the case considering he’s 24 not 21. Dragusin does look a prospect tho and I can imagine it would be the easier deal to do. He’s just a little limited in possession. Todibo I could see pushing for a starting spot even when everyone’s fit where as Dragusin would be more a back up all be it a good one.

It sounds like he's matured though and accepted his attitude whilst at barcelona wasn't good enough. That's a good start.
Everything I’ve read suggests the same. I’d also think that Ange would be pretty specific in this regard and be 100% sure before buying anyone that their character would fit his ethos.

He does look to have some good qualities like he's a beast physically, looks like an old school no nonsense CB type, good in the air both attacking and defending etc but is he comfortable enough on the ball? Say you're in a big game playing out from the back, trying to beat a good press, does he have that calmness and ability on the ball? It's relatively easy when you're not under pressure to do what you want but that can turn on its head completely for some players when under pressure

The famous sea town of London must appeal greatly!

Why not both? Dragusin early, and the other lad later in the window. And that’s us sorted at CB for a few years.
I’d imagine it’s a wages a player numbers issue. I think we were told by itk not to rule out 2 signings, but I believe we have to shift players first so I guess if dier goes we could sign 2?

We can fit now with Lloris leaving. We can fit another with someone else leaving. There are obvious options here & we could lose 4 more without much of a sweat, to be honest. But we do need to be mindful of having to register Sarr & Udogie next season. We can fit another HG regardless by de-registering Whiteman.

Sounds like we're being sensible and pragmatic about this then. Which is good news in itself.

One thing that Dragusin has over Todibo is aerial ability.

Todibo isn’t particularly great in the air, he’s ok but not dominant, where as Dragusin is an aerial beast.

That is something we don’t have currently.
