I’d say that’s potentially dramatic. 4 working days in to Jan after all.

I'm not saying we should have someone signed today, but we should have someone by the United game.

As others have already said we've had this problem since the Summer, and the way the last three months have played out should have further cemented CB as our priority for January.

Nobody has to wait until January to start discussing deals so it's a bit of a misleading cut-off date in any case.

For what it's worth I think this deal will be done this week, but it's fair enough to say, particularly based on past window failures, that if we don't sort it out this week then that represents a failure.

From what I saw yesterday, it looks like Bayern want Mukiele as RB cover, then another player for CB cover.

They don’t have loads of funds so hopefully if they push for Mukiele that means they won’t have the funds to also go for Dragusin.

I've been fairly relaxed about this deal but with bayern guy confirming the news... it's getting worrying, I don't think the money guys learnt any lessons from the previous failed deals.
