I reserve the right to wet myself when this does go tits up.

FWIW any deal involving Italy seems to have more leaks than a sinking ship. All parties leak to multiple sources it seems.
When dealing with Italians the first 99% of negotiations go quickly the last 1% is always where the negotiating starts.

I'll be livid if we've lost out on another player because we've pissed around trying to "win" the negotiations when we're absolutely desperate for a high quality centre back that Ange apparently loves. I keep hearing about how well-placed we are re: FFP etc so just actually act like a big club for once and get a critical transfer over the line even if they're not entirely satisfied with the terms.

That new transfer framework is working great isn’t it?
Such a new invigorating experience.
Lovely stuff

That's still not to say he doesn't prefer a move to the Premier League if he's that way inclined but admittedly, the odds are now swinging firmly in Bayern's favour unfortunately.

Not sure what’s worse? Dragusin to Bayern or the fact that Dier is frantically unpacking his bags at spurs lodge.

Make it all go away…

Most people hadn’t even seen him play 3 weeks ago (me included)! No point losing your marbles over it. They’ll be other CB’s.

Well it doesn't sound like it. Sounds like they've agreed the deal and we haven't

In all seriousness, he was clearly highly sought after . There's deals you can afford to let play out over time and those you can't.

This was always the latter
