Due to his grasp of English and the likelihood of him reading that post in detail I’d say the most likely scenario is him simply denying that he’s injured.
Its also just as likely a family member who has access to the account...

But, we should find out soon enough.

I’m not sure there has been a more confusing day on here during my time. Harry is staying, he’s going. Richarlison is dead and needs surgery, he’s alive and it’s fake news. So exhausted

2 more than richarlison managed last year lol. How many games can Scarlett manage in a row? That might be the deciding factor.
How many did Dane score at the World Cup? How many Puskas nominations has he garnered?

Regardless, the point I was making was about Son, not about Richarlison.

tbf to @Hercules - it could be possible that you're both right here, i.e. a club doctor has determined that Richy isn't fully healed and may need surgery/time off but Richarlison/his personal medical team have different ideas.

This happens all the time behind closed doors, especially with players from overseas. Funny enough one of the biggest examples of this is another Spurs - Kawhi Leonard in the NBA was involved in this exact situation.

And the usual scenario is the player plays about 3 games in 3 months because he’s unfit and then in the end everyone decide the player requires injury and is out for 3 months.

Sorry was more picking at those clambering over Richy being the ready made replacement for Kane.

To be fair Son needs to find his form again hasn't been great in preseason which is equally worrying.

Or plays a whole season injured, then has an operation and is fit again a few weeks later like Sonny.

Fit or not, the idea of us buying a striker who’s experienced and proven at a high professional level and above the age of 19 sounds really good to me about now.

I have never trusted Richy to be the full time #9 of this team, and it doesn’t have that much to do with fitness.

I hope he doesn’t do what Son did last season and play injured all season. As frustrating as it must be for him, it’s best to get it properly fixed and then start fresh and hopefully come back good as new if it’s the same thing that hampered him last season.

Son son had a shit season by his standards, probably due to his injury.
Yes, he was terrible but when he eventually had his op he was back playing for South Korea in just a few weeks - if the operation had such a short recovery time, he should have had it done as soon as possible, especially when we had Richarleson and Danjuma sat watching him be crap due to injury all season. A few weeks of them playing would have been much better than a whole season of an injured Son.

Sometimes the team won’t approve a treatment the player and his doctors want. Jack Eichel, star-ish level player in the NHL, sat out most of a year and forced a trade to a team that would let him get the somewhat experimental surgery he wanted. He’s back now and as good as ever on the new club.

Which is an absolutely terrifying thought considering we have £60m invested in this player and he’s meant to be the replacement for the best striker the club has had in nearly a century. Literal worst case scenario.

I am praying there’s some bad info here.

Every ounce of excitement I had for the upcoming season has been sucked dry in the last 12 hrs.
