I have seen Richarlison play in the flesh in 5 matches

During that period he has got 3 goals 2 assists in 274mins
Thats 1 goal every 91mins
Thats 1 assist every 137mins
Thats 1 goal or assist every 55mins

Frankly I think we need to find a way I can go to away matches

I think he is good enough at this level, I don’t think he’s good enough for us. I really like him as a man and as a player but he doesn’t suit this side. He’ll go, Ange won’t persist, a shame though, love his character but don’t love his football.

Centre forwards tend to touch the ball the fewest times. Think he would be better served as the central forward with Son on the left

I think he will come good, but we brought him a season too early last year, he was brilliant in the period before the World Cup, despite playing out of position and not getting many goals, he worked hard for Sonny and Kane at RW. He's fallen off since

That said, people are blaming Richarlison but our front 3 aren't playing well YET

Kulusevski and Son whilst having great moments but aren't dominating games or looking great. They are still learning how to play, Son with his insane efficiency is scoring like 1 goal every 1.5 chances he gets

Still think he has a role to play but may be from the bench more often than not.
I don't think we're really in a position to have a £60m player as a bench option. I'd much rather see what Veliz can offer from the bench.

I think we just need to cut our losses, get what we can for him and find someone who is more suited to the way Ange plays, and most importantly gets more goals.

Shame really, he's a good lad and the other players seem to love him.

Agree. I still don’t know how he misses that first chance.

I thought Kulu was superb today, especially when Son went off. His strength, intelligence and tenacity was just what we needed, and it was telling that Richarlison wasn’t trusted to do this job.

He was immense.

Power, stamina and intelligence....had the lot.

When the ball came to him I jumped up to celebrate....then was just in disbelief
Finishing is not his strength. From watching him at Everton he needs a few chances to convert and it could have cost us today. The two he missed were pretty bad, at least he's fit more often than not this year, we've got quite the problem building in the squad. Any more injuries and we'll be in trouble.

Does BJ come back in for him against Fulham?
The only reason he might not is because he's coming back from injury. Even if he's got the next two weeks to recover, I can't see Ange starting him. I feel he's more likely to come off the bench a couple of times before starting.

I love the guy, and I want him to do well.
But... he needs numbers.

It's not quite a Soldado situation, because Richi is a different player and has already contributed more, but eventually the stats do start to mean something.

I'm worried.

Probably.

I think Richarlison will start against Fulham. If he struggles I'm sure BJ will start against Palace.

I find it very funny that so many people are willing to cast him aside due to his performance when 10 days ago he was the man that was back!

To those stating he should be benched for Veliz. You want to bench one of the hardest working players in the team for a youth option who the manager indicated isn't ready? You're calling him out on his goal/assists return when he has a better return than Kulusevski despite almost half the game time? You're also criticising a play who for 90% of his Spurs career has been played out of position. He's not Harry Kane, he's not Son, he's not a creator like Maddison. He's a disruptor, he causes havoc, despite what some of you think his head doesn't drop after a miss - yes he looks disappointed but he continues to run and harass the opposition and create opportunities despite the team continually failing to create opportunities for him. Today he missed some chances but he only came off because of the sending off. He's the Lamela of this team and sacrifices his own performances for the team and regardless of how much he cost I'd keep him as a squad option.

I've done numerous posts I don't think he's good enough but I hope it changes. I still feel the same way.

He's got to bury them two chances first half then the game just becomes a stroll in the park for us.

There is going to be some huge games this season where he's going to need to finish. This could be the difference between top 4 and top 6.
