Forget fitness, injuries, form and anything else, when you get a opportunity like his header as a striker you have to take it.

I love the guy and his work rate, but he just isn't a killer. All the best strikers have that killer instinct.

I actually think that header wasn’t easy it was a bit behind him but even still he’s not up to what we need and is looking like a waste of money.

Maybe play this guy as a center forward and work the center backs

He is no winger. But time to ship him off

Bottom line is ange wouldn't sign him so he is no good to him

Would love to have the job security of a profligate Spurs striker. He reminds me of Soldado. There's always an excuse for why he doesn't score, or why he can't put away chances. The mystery injury he has apparently carried since his move from Everton, that nobody at Tottenham or Brazil picked up for 12 months, is bizarre. I like the fella, its nothing personal, but you were a £60m signing FFS and need to bury a chance like todays.

People will make excuses for him again, but it's not a one off: missing those chances is a hallmark of his time here.

Yeah, that's the final straw for me. He's just not going to make it here. He doesn't have a single outstanding attribute, he misses chances where it's harder to miss than score, and one major thing I have noticed is he is never near any ball that is put into the box. If it's crossed to the near post he's at the far post, if it's sent far he's at the near post, if it's in between he's still making his way into the box. He doesn't have the predatory instinct in the box and he doesn't have the finishing ability to make up for it.

Play Veliz until January and sell.

Veliz in the time that he’s been on the pitch in every game has touched the ball about 3 times and looks nowhere near a premier league level player.

we need to spend big in January or better still find a Time Machine and go back to when whoever sanctioned the Kane sale was conceived and make sure the dad pulls out. To think that we replaced Kane with Richarlison and Johnson is sickening.

I can see people are losing patience with him. But he is only just back from surgery. He will likely have until the summer to prove himself useful then be replaced or superseded by a better option

I still think someone fitting the Wilfred Zaha mould would be best for us. Fast, skilful and able to carry the ball, strong and tall able to be a presence in the box, cal play all across the front line....
....just without being a dick

Would bite your hand off for a refund. He was supposed to be a ready made PL striker at his peak. He’s been average at best and terrible at worst here.

Had high hopes for him when he joined but it just doesn't seem to be working.

If a stupid offer comes in for him during Jan then maybe let him go, if not, see how he does for the rest of the season and if still no improve look to move him on.

We can't be keeping players if they don't cut it, need to be far more ruthless.

He has just returned from injury, but even then, you can tell this system does not suit him. I can never fault his effort, he always gives it everything, but it is clear that we should move him on.

People get on Ndombele’s back re his price tag, Richarlison is in danger of being one of the most expensive flops in our history. Really hoping he can find some form when fit and gain some confidence
