Wasn’t bad at all. Ran all match and had some good interplay.

Really needs a goal to get that off his shoulder.

He improved second half but the drop off from Kane is massive. It just goes to show how spoilt we have been with Harry. All game I just couldnt stop thinking how good we'd be with him in the team. It is what it is now, but we need another number 9 in this window. I would say it is almost the most important position to improve in now. Trouble is, no top team is going to sell us their best striker at this point in the window with only a week left to replace them.

If everyone else chips in with goals and we win, who cares. Spending millions doesn’t always work out.
Look at our track record.
Like the manager said yesterday to the Sky interviewer. Mate I’m in charge of all the ins and outs.
If he likes what Richarlison does let’s just trust his view.
He has said it’s not just buying for buying sake, any ins have to fit the system.

Two games in and Kulu and Son are struggling to beat their man and create out wide - I'm telling you, this is a bigger issue than Richy up front at the moment.

If he'd been fluffing chance after chance I'd be worried, but he's not getting enough of them to judge at the moment, IMO.

Do wonder if we could see some interest in him from Saudi. Could be seen as bit of a coup for them to have Brazil's no 9 playing over there and wouldn't be totally surprised if something were to happen.
Agree, wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted out too, my brother caught a weird picture of him yesterday, sat outside the changing room on the floor with the whole team in the changing room, weird picture tbh

He drew two players on him in the box leaving that pocket of space for Sarr to exploit for the goal. He’ll come good.

100% This. Every passing day with no real links is deeply concerning.

People are obsessed with replacing Kane with another 30 a season striker whilst also creaming themselves about Brighton who’s top scorer last season scored about 10.

We’ve scored 4 goals into two matches versus two very competent teams. As you say, who cares where the goals are coming from.

After he came off and went to the bench the camera spent a couple of minutes picking him out as he was obviously a bit pissed off. On one occasion he seemed to be talking to someone off camera and saying (what looked like) "Pass, pass, pass, pass" while gesturing as though it wasn't what he wanted. I think he's looking for quicker delivery into the box. He wants to get on the end of crosses and TBF he doesn't give off the vibes of someone who wants to play 1-2's on the edge of the six yard box.

Not sure his mood is going to improve as with inverted wingers he's not going to see a lot of first time balls whipped into the box.

He's one big emo guy. I always said I feel he takes things too emotionally - putting Neymar's face as a tattoo on his back straight after the WC was a prime example of that. Who the hell will do that.

Criticising Conte in his interview immediately after the match and acting petulant yesterday after he was subbed when the team was winning, against United, just didn't sit well with me at all. Lacks maturity all round despite being 26 already.

He needs to let his pent-up emotions go, stop worrying and trying so hard, and he will come good. Otherwise I am not so sure TBH after 10 games in.

Absolutely this, too many attackes broke down yesterday due to wide men being too slow or wanting to cut inside. The entire front 3 not firing yet

Agree, it’s a strange picture that he caught after the game too

Fierce work rate during his 70 minutes which was impressive even if he didn't get his reward. I thought some of the criticism of him and especially Deki was very harsh yesterday.

Also he was seen laughing and joking with Pap Sarr which the camera picked up.
Probably the heat of the moment when he got taken off.

Good. Didn't see that. He just seems like a guy that needs a goal to feel the love.

Pretty certain he was saying ‘pints, pints, pints, pints’ because he was so pumped about the team performance and going out with the lads after.

I thought he played well and worked very hard for the team. I think some of the criticism in here is over the top.

We cant keep saying Kulu or Son are not feeding him well. Once in a while he has to show us, he can create something for himself and score it

We cannot be sitting in hope he will come good one day.

I hope we can get Orban,Ernest Nuamah soon. I am even ok with Vlahovic, if it means we flog Richarlison on loan to Juve.

IMO, Richarlison for me is not the answer if this team has to really kick on from here

It’s still early days. We’ve only played two matches. If we keep on playing like we did second half last night Richarlison will score goals.

We have to remember that Anges system would probably have made Kane less involved in the play as well. Kane is literally a one of a kind-striker and he’s had a carte blanche to free roam at Tottenham.

Look at someone like Haaland. Last night against Newcastle he hardly touched the ball. That’s the life for the majority of number 9’s. You get 2-3 chances a match to really inlfuence the game.

Richarlison will never be Harry Kane and he probably won’t score 25 goals a season. Instead he has to be judged by his own merit. Richarlison does things in this system that Kane can’t do anymore, most notably his pressing.

Have some faith and trust the process.
