It looked like Villa wanted Bentancur to replace Luiz who Arsenal wanted.

Now we look to be securing a del for Bentancur, I'm not sure Villa will want to let Luiz go.

Depends on the value they want from him. 18 months left on his contract, not interested in signing a new one, villa are safe for the season, and I doubt they'll challenge for European places. If they don't sell now he could lose a considerable amount in 6 months.

I won't lie I don't know much about the player, and whenever I've seen Juve, or Uruguay play he's never stood out (Maybe he's one of those unheralded types who you only appreciate when they don't play), but for the fees and wages involved he's almost risk free.
You don't play regularly for Juventus if you're shit.
