Don't want him back too early if it means he'll break down again. Hopefully the physios know what they're doing and not pushing too hard. Not release him so he's back on the treatment table again in a month.

Let’s hope he’s using his own medical team, as ours will get another 3 months down the line and decide further surgery is required

Home to Fulham 21st October, first game after the October international break could be his aim then to be back

I don't care when he's back, I just hope he's the same player and the injury doesn't rob him mobility or pace and then there's the psychological element too.

Such a horrible injury to probably our second most important player after Kane IMO.

Apparently it’s the psychological element these days that is the problem. Sports science is so good that unless it happens in your 30s you should get back to the same level but alot of players struggle to trust their body again

Can’t wait to see him back on the pitch.

Look at his little face…

As recent transfers go Bentancur's is up there with Dembele's; he really is that good!!!!

7 goal involvements in 18 PL matches this season, playing in a midfield 2... he was on track to have an absolutely insane year and it's no coincidence that our season went down in flames when he did. He would have been around Gundogan numbers if he played a full season, and coming from deeper as well!

He seems driven and determined to get back, and I fully believe he can get back to his best 🤞🤞

He was so good. There was 3-4 games where we were losing and he was like f this and single handedly just dragged us back into games.

Him as an 8 in ange system will score and assist a lot imo.

He was missed last season. His loss was as consequential in the season as having bad coaching and management from snotty individuals who also proved dull in their advice to players on how to play. He had a good World Cup in the matches we saw him in. He is a creative and robust player, with the personality to lift the level of teammates and the crowd. So his loss just after the winter World Cup must have hit everyone around him hard, and more importantly dismayed him. It'll be great to have him back, though I agree he should build up his strength and movement, which will boost his confidence, and under no circumstances should he be rushed back into the frontline. He is popular and is worth waiting for, but we do not want to see him suffer any setbacks. When he is eventually back playing it will be a great day for him and for Spurs.

There’s really nothing to dislike about him at all. Technically he’s amazing, his touch is tremendous and he works his socks off, absolute complete midfielder with the goals/assists he added last season. He also seems like a truly lovely guy too. We’re very lucky to have him and I don’t know what Juve were thinking!
