get a back up striker and we’ll win trophies, our full backs have been a huge problem for a couple of seasons. Now it looks like we have that sorted, he was excellent going forward and he’s a good character, you can absolutely tell that he thinks he belongs here. He’ll be a fans favourite I’m sure. Doherty is a big upgrade as well.

Took real guts to recover from his mistake and have the kind of performance he did. Looked really bright and exciting going forward.

He has such an engine (as evidenced right at the end there too), covered so much ground, and quickly too.

Don’t think we should do this kind of stuff. Reguilon is completely different to Davies, and you could just as easily say Davies likely doesn’t give up that chance as easily as Reguilon did because he’s more measured. Let’s just be happy we have one seemingly fantastic attacking LB and another one that won’t competently embarrass himself.

Cracking debut despite the error where he was guilty of being a bit too eager. More than made up for it with an energetic performance and a great assist.

Bombed up and down and showed some nice passing.

So great to see such a bundle of energy on that side, infectious character too. Instant fan favourite.

He looks like he will become a fan favourite very very very very quickly!!!!!

The Regulator is exactly what we needed on that left wing, for the team in general his energy and drive is fantastic and hopefully that will become a little more infectious to other players when in some games we need a lift.

He is rapid and actually what it allowed was for Aurier to also have a bit of space to do his shit

Apart from the first 15 minutes or so when he made the mistake and was trying too hard, he looked very promising indeed.

Will be interesting to see how he goes in a back 4, but I was impressed.

Loved his debut. Got over his mistake quickly and looked really sharp for the rest of the match. Terrific engine and pace to burn will be a real asset. Loved that he was first to get to Lloris after their penalty miss. Going to be a special player for us.

Been crying out for a fullback like Reg who can influence the game in the last third. Has the pace to recover when we are caught out the back. Just so refreshing compared to what we've seen in the fullback positions over the last few seasons. No question he is the main man when it comes to the LB position. Hopefully we get through Thursday and Davies's place can be to cover Reg against the lesser side in the cups.

Can easily see him bagging 5-10 goals a season if used on the wing, very promising debut

He is so fucking quick :playful: :playful: :playful: :playful:

Between that recovery run to win the ball back and his run to get to Serge's cross, he will be fun player to watch this season. I can see him getting plenty goals and assists as well.

In the past a new signing makes a mistake like that in his debut (and it wasn't all his fault by the way) and then just collapses. He just grew as the game went on. His recovery pace is so similar to what Walker had, loved his chase back challenge towards the end of the first half. We have 2 very exciting attack minded fullbacks now and finally replaced Rose and Walker.
