True but whole point of my post if players like Son are supposed to be the big game world class players of our team and he didn’t show up.

Will him being 3rd joint goal scorer and assist contributor count as a trophy at end of season?

Our players NEED need to step up in the very top games and make their mark.

This included Kane too, it’s a tricky one as both Kane and Son have literally carried us many tI’m es this season but what good is that if they’re then both crap in the final?

That‘s two finals in a row Kane has been ineffective too, but he wants to win team medals?

Re Kane it seems back from injury factor in both finals. Him and Son rely on others and it may be just as simple as burn out after a these games. End of day they may not have turned up.in finals though they have turned up sufficiently other times!

I refuse to look at the critism he gets. We are lucky to have him

My only gripe is if he is having a bad game he is never subbed off. If dele and Bale were playing well and kane and son weren't and we were losing kane and son would still not be subbed. That sort of stuff can demoralise the team when not winning

A poor man's Robbie Fowler
scores a goal now and then, but shit control and shit vision in the final third (the usual drag back while everyone passes him by into open position, then either make a pass when the all defenders are already in position or shoot from outside the penalty box, i cry for Dele Ali)

Not good enough for us.

Instant reaction to your post is Fuck off! He has been key and a legend for me.

Robbie never brought in this much fucking cash from overseas fans!

However you skin it, he’s had a good season, and had at times been superb. It’s true that he’s had some very poor matches and sadly went through a long funk mid season but ultimately he’s produced and is very far from the issue with our side.

I’d not bet against him scoring the three he needs for a 20 league goal season. Imagine having two forwards score over 20 and not manage to finish anywhere near the top... that’s mid 90s stuff.

3rd highest goalscorer in the league and the 2nd most goal involvements in the league behind Kane...

Anyone criticising him doesn't know ball.

He is so underrated and glad he is having the stats he is getting this season.

However, he does need to work on his pressing, tracking back and being stronger on the ball as times, he is easily pushed off the ball.

Yep this is it for me. We've had 3 managers in a row who are scared to sub off the players playing shit. Son was one of our better players yesterday but I was dreading the subs because I knew he wasn't going to take off the players playing poorly and instead sub the one player in dele who looked like he might make something out of nothing. Kane was absolutely dreadful yesterday, poor passing, poor touch, terrible decision making but we knew he wouldn't be replaced.

Same thing in the final. We subbed off Moura who actually looked threatening, Son was diabolical but we knew he wouldn't come off and the game was killed in an instant because of those decisions. Poch, Jose and Mason all guilty of it.

So even the managers lost their balls..typical Spursy moment

How can u say kame was absolutely dreadful? Hit the bar with a nice free kick and was a toenail from being onside. You just can't take off kane

Yeah he did well for the goal but I'm talking about his overall game. he had an awful game, his needlessly rushed freekick led to their first goal.

He's always been streaky but he's one of our only genuinely quality players.
