Selling our two best players (by miles) in the same window would be insane.

Regarding losing pace as it keeps coming up, Son is about one of the best conditioned players you will see - Vardy is still quick at 34 and drinks skittles vodka for breakfast so there's no real reason he can't still be rapid for another 5 years at least.

Berbatov and Keane say hi.....oh so does Fraiser Campbell

Kagawa / ji sung park / Okazaki / Youngpyo Lee and many others I can't remember their names of.
I don't know what happened to them but for some unknown reasons, their prime years didn't last very long. That's what I'm most afraid about these Asian players.

Yeah that is right, mate. Because every single Asian player and country is exactly the same... ?

I have a sneaky feeling Son has already signed his new deal and the club is waiting to announce it to help sugar coat bad news as and when it happens
People thought the same thing about Eriksen in Summer of 18.. that deal never got signed.

If he's signed a new deal then it'll have to be announced within the next week or so, all this bollocks about waiting for an opportune time to release some good PR, there has never been a better time to inject some good news into the club.

Why release the good PR news on the basis of speculation?

Keep your powder dry for when it's actually needed

A player signing a new deal will not be good enough for if Kane actually leaves, that news will need some new signings to soften the blow. Announcing that one of our star players has signed a new deal whilst the fans feel the club is in disarray and the optics feel like everybody wants to abandon ship would be a good moment to release some decent PR.

I don't disagree and of course it wouldn't scratch the surface of Kane leaving

I'm just not convinced the clubs PR department see it that way either

YouTube popped this as a recommendation to me. Funny seeing him on his own up top, as there's always been a denial that he can play as a striker.

As an aside, it made me not miss the days before VAR

Saw that a while back. He's come on leaps and bounds, his touch is heavy, he's not as rapid either.

The Athletic (I know) are reporting that we can now announce Son's new contract. The hold up was because the BoE loan wasn't allowed to cover transfers and player contracts. The restructure allows us to.

Isn't that, if true, a direct sign that we are indeed possibly very short of cash?
