Those that don’t think we’d sell Sonny if a bid came in which Levy thought was great business are not paying enough attention!!!

Really? Who was the last player we sold that wanted to stay and the manager wanted to keep just because of the bid?
We haven’t had a great bid for one of our players since Walker

If the same scenario came about with Sonny then Sonny would regretfully want to leave and Daniel would drive him to The Emirates

Poch fell out with Walker and was happy to sell.

Unsurprising that you can't think of a single example.

Too eager to score instead of running the channels, that's his problem..., When he does score, its good, when he doesnt, usually he's shit. Lost some of his football common sense over the years, at time he plays like Harry Winks...no joke

I honestly don't understand Spurs fans who even suggest we sell Son. He's our top goal scorer this year and regularly hits double figures each season. His baron spells can be frustrating, but we would be way lower in the table without him.

I guess the argument is about selling players while they still have value but soon to decline. In Son's case I think we should keep him as long as he wants to stay.

The big problem isn't Son, its that Son and Kane are the only two players in our team that a capable of producing anything in attack. This means that the focus is on them and any mistakes are scrutinised. Its imperative we bring in a a top quality RWF who can take off some of the load. Its all well and good having Lucas, Berg, Kulu and a 32 year old Bale (if we do bring him in) but none of them are the real answer to our problem. The fact we have survived as long as we have relying on just those two is a miracle really.

son has always been a world-class finisher but every other aspect of his game leaves a lot to be desired, hence why if his doesn't score doesn't bring much else. Used to run at players, but over time he does that less and less

Didnt he set up a huge number of assists last season? Think you're doing him a disservice.

No way we would sell Son.
With the world opening up again, we need him here so his countryman can keep the ground at over 80% capacity.

And still one of only a couple of players we have that could play at a higher level

Worked a lot harder today. His pass for Kane’s first is just top draw. He seems to raise his game for the bigger matches now. Maybe he needs a bit more managing for the other matches because there’s a definite difference. Superb today though.

I've seen some people say Son needed to be dropped after a run of sub-par performances but today shows exactly why you can't afford to ever drop him. He's a true gamechanger on his day and it's never too long before he pops up with a goal or an assist. He's on a completely different level to our other wide forwards.

Salah has plenty of off days where he's missing sitters and playing terribly, but Klopp never ever drops him for exactly this reason.

He's one half of a partnership that's just equalled the joint assists/goals record (36 times I think) and that's a massive part of his game that leaves a lot to be desired? If he doesn't score he doesn't bring much else?

No. Not for me.

maybe it was a bit of diservice, he can be a excellent crosser, but we don't see it as much anymore (before yesterday when did he last put in a ball like that), love sonny his a very productive player especially in terms of stats, like yesterday he didn't have a great game but still came out with 2 assists
